Through whom every sister’s name has been given
And by that name we’ve been called
Into His family forever where we’ll be enthralled by His beauty and majesty
So we’ll give up whatever grievances we may hold
We’ll refuse to participate in the gossip told
We’ll reject jealousy and competition
Instead we’ll embrace her as our fellow Christian
We’ll take on humility and set aside our pride
We’ll put on compassion so we can come alongside
Holy Spirit let our vision be realigned
So that all we see is your design
Sometimes we’ll need to say the hard thing even if she doesn’t get it
Call her out of her sin and keep her from regret
By our words we’ll uncover what Satan tries to quench
So they can blossom to be gifts that are drenched in God’s love
See, she may not look perfect but we’ll let God’s word be our measure
He says that she is His treasure
And by one sacrifice He’s made perfect forever
Those who are being made holy
Let God fill us with His goodness and His love and mercy
Let us cling to the truths He has told us in His word and see
With the Holy Spirit as our guide and our sister at our side
We are daughters of the King and to His Son we’re a bride
So before the throne we stand
With the same blood in our veins and in our hands
The blood of our savior running through us forever
Uniting us together
Under one Faith, one Baptism, one Hope to which we’ve been called
one Father, one Spirit, one Lord over all!
